The Slash and Stitch method used here is a very quick method so at the very least the block for quilt top can be completed on the day. Being a quilt, there’s no embroidery or embellishment, which may appeal to some!
Morning Session- Welcome and Introductions
- Slash and Stich technique explained and demonstrated
- Fabrics and colour scheme chosen by participants and quilts started
Afternoon Session
- Continuing work on quilts
• Sewing machine and usual patchwork and quilting equipment – rotary cutter, ruler, board, thread, scissors etc
• Fabric – a range of 6-8 co-ordinating fat quarters. Exact details would be provided in advance
