This workshop gives an opportunity to experiment with crazy patchwork at the same time as making this wonderful cushion.
In this day long workshop partipants make a crazy patchwork cushion.
What to expect on the day
Morning Session
- Welcome and Introductions
- Crazy patchwork techniques explained and demonstrated
- Fabrics and colour scheme chosen by participants and cushions started
Afternoon Session
- Continuing work on cushions - including embridery stitches and embellishment
What you need
- Sewing machine and usual patchwork and quilting equipment – rotary cutter, ruler, board, thread, scissors etc
- Fabric – a range of co-ordinating fabrics. Exact details would be provided in advance
- Embroidery threads - machine or hand
- Beads etc for embellishment
