Today I spent the day at workshop given by Julia Reed organised by one of the Patchwork Group's I belong to.  It was great to spend 6 hours sewing and sharing and an even greater achievement to complete the project before I came home!

I love the shape and size of the bag and the central section lends itself to so much variation - other applique, single blocks etc.  I think I'll be making a few more!  It was also the first time I'd ueed a Lecien woven fabric - apart from being a little stretchy I liked the more substantial feel it gave to the bag
